Torchattan House Bed and Breakfast is situated in the heart of Aberlour, Moray and only two minutes away from the shops, so why not come and soak up the relaxing atmosphere in Aberlour.

Located on the famous Malt Whisky Trail, why not try an in-depth tour of our distillery "The Aberlour". From start to finish you can enjoy five great tastes of malt whisky. Also we have the Whisky Festival in May every year, the festival normally takes place on the first weekend in May.

You can try your hand at Salmon fishing on the famous River Spey. Daily fishing permits can be bought at the local fishing tackle shop. We also have storage for your fishing gear.

If you are into walking why not walk the Speyside Way, starting at Spey Bay near Fochabers and ending at Aviemore in the Cairngorm National Park. When you are passing stop off at Torchattan B&B in Aberlour.

Explore the Speyside Way, Aberlour has many walks along the river Spey and there are many more walking and rambling opportunities in the surrounding area.

Explore the famous Malt Whisky Trail.

Visit the Speyside Cooperage and watch the coopers making barrels for the whisky industry.

Explore the nearby castle trail.

Go mountain biking on the many mountain biking trails or pony trekking at one of the riding stables in the Speyside area.

Go fishing in the famous River Spey or search out the many trout lochs in the surrounding area.

Go wildlife and bird watching in the local area or Dolphin watching along the Moray Firth coast. Visit Speybay and watch the Osprey fishing for salmon.

There are many golf courses, tennis courts and swimming pools in Moray.
